What type of USB connection is this?

Can anyone please help me identify what type of USB connection this is? I thought is was Firewire 4Pin 1394, but it isn't!

Looks like mini-USB to me - the sort you get on satnavs, digital cameras etc.

What device is that? If you're unlucky it's a connector to a proprietory cable terminating at a standard USB plug. I've got a couple of items (hang your heads in shame Nikon et al) that do this.

My immediate thought was that it can't be a mini-usb, but it looks like there are two types of mini usb!

Second one along perhaps? male Mini USB (8-pin) B-Type.

Thanks for the input, it is on a Snooper saphire speed camera detector. I have lost the update cable and a replacement is £13 direct from them, so I was hoping to find a cheaper one elsewhere!
