Mine was a 1993 1.8i Vauxhall Cavalier.

Burgundy and it had around 90 BHP. I got rid once it developed a nasty leak in the fuel tank.

Hi

Vauxhall Ventora 3.3 litre straight 6.

About 15 mpg but then you got three gallons for a quid.

0-60 in a little over 12 seconds and a top speed of not much more than 100 mph.

Plenty of torque - it would pull from 10 mph in top gear.

Fiat X19 Gran Finale....pretty rusty, so spent an absolute fortune restoring it, then fitting a secondhand leather interior and awsome body kit, plus K&N air filter and Janspeed stainless exhaust. Looked the business to be honest, but then sold it soon after for peanuts! Oh the joys of youth!

A 2002 1.2 16V Clio with a Quick Shift auto gearbox.

A little yellow light would come on and the dealer's service department would plug in its diagnostic reader and phone Renault with the fault codes and Renault would tell them to swap the box.

Two replacement gearboxes in 26000 miles.

However ... despite that fallibility I really liked it and have fond memories.
