What was your first ever car?

I had a 1963 Ford Anglia 105e, then a 1965 1500gt cortina mk1, onto a 1968cortina 1600e mk2, then a 1968 mk1 mini cooper s (loved that) then on to Rovers a 2000tc & 3500s (till the g/box fell apart) and about 20 others all a bit boring though till BMW 318ise auto last 10 years and now the c220cdi sport saloon, which arrives on friday

Fiat Strada Abarth 130TC- only just taken my test, so although I was in my mid 20's, the insurance was >20% of the cost of the 2yr old car. Might have got something more sensible if I'd got insurance quotes first (so good job I didn't).

I know a guy who had one of those. He's the most sensible (square if you like) man one could ever meet.
However, he had to get rid of the car (which he said was haunted) because it would always rev up of its own accord at the traffic lights, usually when alongside a young boy racer.
