Thinking of keeping my W220 for another year, new job means lot's of motorway travel. So maybe a new set of wheels, she's fitted with standard 17" alloys, also can you get a kit for the exhaust straight pipe ends that protrude.

Thanks,
Bill.

Probably better with a good set of premium tyres on your existing rims.

18” Difda rims are great looking - had them on my W220 S500

Full gangsta or OEM?

Thanks,
Bill.

Brabus V also look good

What colour and year is your s class Bill?

Your profile says you're in Grimsby? There is a chap I know in Hull. He's quoted me £400 for new back box and quad pipes for my S

Hi She's 2005 and Silver, my exhaust is stainless already so maybe just a set of end pipes.

Similar to mine then. I think you need the new back box to be able to bring the pipes down below the bumper before they can come out straight. If not you have to come through the bumper which would be a whole different story.

I have always thought black alloys look good on silver body. As for style, multispoke or mono block are also great which covers a lot!

Have you used the Google app 3d tuning? It let's you easily mock up a 3d view of your car. You can change colours, wheels, bumpers, ride height blah blah. Just knocked this up:

There are these 18" Staggered AMG II alloys. Not the nicest but could be an option as they were fitted to a lot of w220's at the Factory, as mine were. Rubber is 245/45 Front and 275/40 Rear.

As far as Pipes go you could fit something like this that attach to the downward pointing endpipes.

Good luck.

I have those on mine. They look fine from the rear of slightly to the side but from fully side on they look a little naff. I'll try and get a better picture or 2 but here you can see how they look from behind...
