What would you get next?

Friend of mine refuses to buy a Merc because its "a bit early for him".... meaning once he has one, he'd never be able to use another Marque because it'd be a sort of step backwards in progress.

Thinking about it myself, I'm not sure I'd want a nice new 911 over lets say a nice new E Cab. Okay so these are totally different cars, but I'm talking in terms of a 1 car, daily driver type of use.

Anyone disagree? Am I making any sense? What would you get next?

I bought my SL nearly 8yrs. ago......no regrets and I would do the same again.
However, most people could not live with a two seats car as their only car.......I have two four seats cars in addition.
If only one car I think it would have to have four seats and probably have to be an E class estate with a lot of engine.
