One with the most realistic in car environment - fancy a play :)

Colin McRay Dirt has good driving physics and car damage too

All these games improve dramatically with a steering wheel and pedals :)

And a massive HDTV helps too...

Worth bearing in mind that the number of cars and tracks is fairly limited, since it is a "prequel" to the full GT5 game which is due out later this year. However, the cars and tracks that are there are incredibly detailed, and the in-car view, shadows, reflections etc are the best I have seen in any car game.

Judging by the standard of today's driving in the UK, then i'd whole heartedly suggest burnout paradise!

Yup, Burnout Paradise is a great game.

Another vote for Burnout Paradise.

Not another vote for GT5 Prologue. It's tedious, ultra-nerdy, and no fun whatsoever.

The great thing about the PS3 is that you can download free demos of most of the games from the PlayStation store - try before you buy.

I've got GT5 Prologue, Motorstorm, and Burnout Paradise. Burnout is the best, IMO. Despite the 1080 graphics I enjoyed GT5 less than the earlier versions (which I played a lot).
