I have a 2007 E320 CDI 3.0 deisel. Now getting a warning message saying 'service A due'

A friend (mechanic) will do this for me but he is not a Merc specialist so I am hoping someone can please point me towards a list of what should be changed / checked on an A service ?

I am assuming oil, oil filter, air filter, fuel filter but wondering what else ?

Thanks Kev

I'd recommend checking the turbo seals whilst he is at it, they are notorious for splitting and allowing oil into the inlet port shutoff motor, I check mine regularly and change it after each service.

Use the online ESS tool and it will tell you precisely what's covered, including additional items which are mileage and time dependent:

Mercedes-Benz ESS

Defo change those seals at every service.

Don't know how old your car is but if its 2008 (I think) MB went to on-line service records, can your pal update the MB service history?

Does he have a STAR to read codes?
