I’ll happily take your Cash. 🥳

Been playing/singing Leaving on a Jet Plane on the guitar all week, another one I can't get out of my head.

Any proper old school soul fans out there - this should bring back some memories. They don't make artists like this any more.
Lasts almost an hour, so make a cuppa before settling in with your headphones on.

Just watched Coldplay’s documentary ’A Head Full Of Dreams’.

No question about it they are my all time favourite Band. I’ve liked them from the very start when their music was very sedate/meaningful/deep all the way through to the fun stuff.

Watched Sade's 2011 tour gig in California on Sky Arts. I'd forgotten what an incredible voice and presence she has; and an amazing band

This is something way outside my normal Prog Rock fodder, but I've been catching up with some of the 80's Paul Simon music I missed by being just too busy at the time. The new releases of the hi res files on streaming platforms such as Qobuz has made me appreciate just what an artist he was, and still is.

Quite possibly the best soul singer Britain ever produced--not bad for a guy who started out as a gas fitter from Sheffield JC.
