What's Everyone Watching on TV

If pop groups were colours Coldplay would be as beige as beige could be. Just bland middle of the road music for the middle aged that don't listen to any music they did not discover first on Radio 2! First couple of albums were OK..... downhill from there. I do have to listen to them a bit though...as Mrs AI loves them......
Mrs Al has sublime taste in music. (But apparently not men!) 😁

Is it just me or is the sound quality from Glastonbury not great

Proper television!

Just binge watched the Sky series The Tattooist of Auschwitz and its extremely thought provoking television.
Wonderfully cast, its not pleasant viewing, but the way the story has been told, flitting from past to present makes for a a series I had to see from beginning to end.
It's not for everyone, and it has flaws. The cast (prisoners) look far too well fed and the uniforms look far too clean. The horrors are not properly conveyed in that respect and I understand some of the timelines are incorrect.

It's just sad and ironic, that the ethnic cleansing carried out on the Jews is now being carried out on Gazans. You'd think they would have learned.

Our neighbours are massive Coldplay fans; so much so that they have tickets for them later in the year......
In Auckland 😮
Mad isn’t it?

We’ve got friends over from the US and they saw Taylor Swift at Wembley the other week!!

Murder in Mind - more about the motivation behind the murders than most detective series,

Whitstable Pearl - just starting the second series. Gentle entertainment with good characters and scenery,

Clocking Off - a great series, even though nobody who works at that factory seems to have a happy life,

Professor T - a fabulous series. Eagerly waiting for more...

Just finished watching The Turkish Detective on the Beeb, I liked it, 4 x 2hour episodes with a common thread through out the series.

How come the Sir Mark Rowley microphone incident went so quiet so easily (I know busted mic's can't hear anymore)?
Was it designed for effect?
Are we to see a more authoritarian type of policing?

I’ve heard of Edith Bowman and Ian H Watkins. He had to put the H in due to Ian Watkins from The Lost Prophets getting convicted and he still got hate mail.
Edith's a cracker, (Am still allowed to say that?) But I hate the whole program! My wife and mother watch it so I have to "Excuse Myself" and do something else, the problem being that "Something Else" often ends up Alcohol Related!:oops::dk:

I don't mind it....take it for what it is....light entertainment rather than a cookery program....but there's always someone who turns out to be a half decent cook.....usually the last one you would expect!!....like Matt Dawson and Ade Edmundson!!

Just watched Beverly Hills Cop Axel F on Netflix. Amazing it’s 40 years after the first one! I wasn’t sure what to expect but it was super. All the same characters and the feel of the movie just the same. Even the music had an 80s feel without being obviously retro. If you liked the originals well worth a watch. Nice bit of nostalgia as well.

I don’t think people realise how good an actor and stand-up comedian Eddy Murphy was/is.
He was an absolute power-house in the 80’s.

The Twelve ( Series 2)
Really good Australian court drama starring Sam Neill among others.
Now streaming on ITV X, I thoroughly recommend it. Series one was very good too.

Just watched this. Absolutely loved this guy in my youth. A Really interesting watch. 👍
