whats it worth Advice plse

i have lots of cars she could invest that on ;)

She has got her eye on a disco, not my cup of tea but I will do anything for a peacefull life. my next attack on her is to say buy the disco and I will drive that and she can have the clk, that way i still get to use it more often then not, but she will come back with we cant afford petrol for 2 big cars blah blah blah and I will get a headache again:crazy:

were did you advertise Vlad, having thought about it I am willing to sit on mine for 2 months and if nothing consider my options then as thats when the insurance runs out.

Autotrader and E-Bay.....both at the same price.

If you want to come up with a financial argument for not having one, you could paint a pessimistic picture based upon:

Insurance - not cheap on a twin-axle caravan, certainly with your suggested value. Probably £400 plus.

Mobility - budget for a motorised mover. Probably £1500 plus.

Storage - If you don't have somewhere to keep it, you probably need to budget £500 plus per annum for storage - more for secure facilities.

Towbar - If not fitted to your next car £350

Servicing - Budget £250 plus per annum

Depreciation - Budget £2k per annum plus (although you'd be unlucky to lose that much assuming you didn't sell it back to a dealer straight away).

Hope that helps!!

Good thinking Batman that will be next try, i still prefer my beach hols in greek islands and a few beers but she has this idea that we will have so many more holidays in the uk for the price it costs to go abroad once for the family and the van will pay for itslef in a few years.
