Car
Audi A3 & S4 quattro
...my car.

You know the car - click my signature to see the gallary and spec.

Interior is mint. Exterior has the dings and stone chips you might expect on a cared for but driven 98K mile car.

As stated, 98K miles.

Complete history, independent from 30K miles. Just had a B service. For the purpose of this, presume anti roll bar bushes replaced and gearbox perfect (apart from being a manual eh).

  • Including the sat nav and stereo etc, what do you think in the current climate it's worth today private sale?
  • Stripping the car down to a regular grile, headunit, sat nav etc removed, what do you think I would get offers for P/X at main dealers?

I know how much the car is worth to me, but need to consider how much it's worth in terms of cash to make some financial decisions for my future motoring.

Unlikely and not the point of this thread, but yes, open to offers (no abuse thanks!).

we thinking TT again G? Some bargains around atm

My nearest forum neighbor defecting? Surely not!?!?

Probably not mate, just keeping my wits about me.

We must meet up soon anyway...........

Be careful of the Volvo, we have 2 at work (not T5's!) a V40 1.8 and a S40 2.0T both are 2001 cars and have done around 130K, the 1.8 has been no bother, the 2.0T is a different story, has had loads of engine related problems, some of them pretty major and expensive. You dont want that again!!!

Hmm.....thanks guys.

But does anyone have access to a Glasses Guide figures for my car?

Cheers Aletank.

So allowing for the true mileage, manual etc, taking no account of the options which I do think add a little value - electric seats, Xenons, genuine AMG alloys:

Trade: £4,875
Retail: £7,095

One way or another I would probably let it go for £6.5K (sans ICE and Navigation), but that probably means I'm keeping!

I like wisebuyers prices!!

Allowing for 99K miles but not the options:

Retail: £8,008
Private Good: £6,838
Private Average: £5,838
Private Poor: £4,548
Part Exchange: £6,268
Trade: £5,982

I think you are doing a Koolvin on us mate. :D
