whats it worth????

I've had my 99 e300td avangrade estate for a couple of years now, but things are starting to go wrong. It needs a new wing mirror , a service , the heater fan seems to have died, it's starting to rust

I was wondering what it's worth, should I get £2k under the new gov scheme, is it worth more? should I break the car??

It's still basically a good old bus, but running costs etc.


Anybody got any thoughts?

Welcome to the W210 wreck club! The same thoughts run through my mind. Bomb proof residuals? Pah!!!!!!!

get a second hand mirror and fan; change the engine oil + filter yourself and run it and run it and run it. It is worth about £2k ish depending on colour, miles, SH and how rusty it is. But what would you buy instead that offered such good value/

very good!
but they are getting to be like hens teeth now. I keep looking at mine and wondering whether to spend a few quid tidying it up or just buy a 211 or run the 124 as it is (latter is winning at the moment)
