Hi Guys and Girls

I'm still looking at a w204 C Class about £20000 I have a 1998 C Class 2.5 td with 140000 on the clock body is okish 9 months MOT what do you think I may get part x thanks for any input

Paul

Not much. Probably scrappage is the best way to go. I'd buy the 204 and just keep the 2.5TD 202 as a run about/2nd car.

My stepfather went to trade in his '98 C180 Elegance auto petrol, 72K miles, fairly good condition, good bit of t&t and was offered £500. That was three months ago, he's still driving it:D

But the car Im bying is not new its used??

Well its 11 years old 140k so the answers probably not a lot, maybe better selling it privately anything more than the trade in value would be a bonus.
Plus probably make the deal on the 204 easier to work out in your favour.

Sorry Paul
I must wake up and read the threads properly.
I did sell my 1999 C200 Esprit in good condition 12 months ago with 88000 miles on 6 months tax and 12 months MOT and struggled to get £1800.

There are some very cheap cars out there at the moment.

I would take a punt and stick a free ad into gumtree, it wont cost anything and you can see if theres any interest. Have a look to gauge the values.

Ok I will let you know how I get on Thanks
