What's supposed to go in the rear passenger centre console?

I've been looking at the rear 12v feed socket (which someone's stuffed paper into) & there's a space next to it with a spring at the base. What's it for? I presume something's missing.

That was my first thought but I can't find anything that might show what it is.

It looks like this. The seemingly missing but is also missing here, above the guy's thumb.

Yes it’s a removable ash tray that’s missing. It’s released by pushing the round button that slots into the round hole you can see in the photo. The spring pushes it up.

Thanks, I've ordered one from ebay.

I also saw that there's an inverter that can go in there too.
