Worst? W168 A class after pandering to the safety nazis and making it ride like it had concrete wheels bolted direct to the chassis.

Best? W221 S class. Nothing in the world better as a real world every day car.

I tend to agree...the ride on the old A Class really needs an elking 'and the W221 is the best car I have driven. Period

V-class 638 chassis.

Much much worse than the A-Class.

The best car for all round cost of ownership and build quality is the facelifted 202. Brilliant car and better than 124's in my mind. (I am prepared for a beating for that comment)
