Whats this??? CLK 430 w208 1999

    I have attached a picture of my engine...

    First of all the yellow circle... what goes here? Am i missing something? Seen other w208 430s with something there??

    Second... red circle...

    What is it? The plastic housing is cracked and it moves about...

    Part numbers if possible... if not just what they are called!!!!

    Dunno.

    I think it has to be there for emissions...so it must have been removed.

    Hi,
    As above, its the Secondary Air Pump.
    That age M113 engine doesn't have it, you have nothing missing.

    A requirement for the state of California, but not anywhere else in the world? - My old Celica had one that has been disconnected too.

    It is connected to engine and loom... no open connectors... its split just wondering if its replaceable? Tia
