I have a 2018 cla just wondering what the rotary knob is for below the speedo . It's the same kind of knob u get on older cars for resetting clocks and stuff on the binnacle.

Is it not the backlight brightness adjuster? It’ll say in the manual.

This is poor form for a modern Mercedes :( ---- a tactile knob that you turn!!!!! Why is this function not buried in some obscure sub/sub/sub menu that is impossible to find without taking your eyes off the road --- we need answers.

It makes more sense really, how often is the feature used?

For me it's simply a matter of setting and forgetting.
