I am looking for new wheels for my car (02 W168) and all the specs checkout except the bolt size. My car is 12mm and the wheels are 14mm. Local tyre dealer states the shank should account for the difference but will not say it is safe to use 14mm wheels.
I am sure no one would be willing to say it is without risk to use 14mm bolt hole wheels but does anyone have any experience? Is there a modification, adapter or kit to account for the 2mm difference, I should look into?
