My wife has a 205GTI, both front wheels needed new tyres but my tyre dealer pointed out that one wheel had a "dent" on the inside and the other wheel was in poor condition with the finish flaking off. He recommended I go to "Wheel Works" in Crawley (RH10 9NX).
I received friendly service on the phone, the quote for new tyres fitted at the same time was only a few pounds more than the best quote I could get and the full strip, repair and refurbishment was quoted at £55 + vat per wheel. They had a loan car for £20 (not needed) and offered a one day service. In the end I dropped the wheels in Thursday mid day and collected 3pm Friday.
Very pleased with the result and the service I received.
Now I need to get the scratch on my bumper repaired since the wife used my Mercedes to do the shopping and some clown went home with some of my paint!!!!!!!!!!!
