Wheel speed sensor 2011 W204 missing??

Are there supposed to be 2 sensors (cables) behind each disc on the front wheels it's just mine has 2 on driver's (near) side and only 1 on the passenger side!?
I've had the car 6 months and ABS/ESP light on dash came on last Weds during a long trip. Is it possible it somehow came off?
Does it connect inside the arch or go up to side of engine? It's just I see a connector dangling down near the side of engine towards wheel.

I think the side with two sensors will be one ABS and the other brake wear sensor.

As above, the brake pads wear sensor is only fitted to one side of the car.

If you suspect a faulty ABS sensor, you'll need to read the fault codes with STAR (or iCarsoft), it will tell you which wheel sensor is defective.

Also, if the car was purchased from a trader (not in a private sale) , then you have warranty by law, and if it was just under 6 months you're in an even stronger position legally.
