Wheel Studs

Would anyone happen to know if the wheel studs on a R129 are the same as those on a 2003 SL ? It would be really helpful to know what models share the same wheel studs. I believe, for example, that CLS studs are different from R129 ones- is this correct?

230/219/211/163/164/169/245 are M14x1.5x27R14
129/168/170/171/202/203/208/209/210/414 are M12x1.5x39R12
220/215/140/638/639 are M14x1.5x45R14
These are oem sizes for alloy wheels. Steel wheels/replicas and the correct bolts for interchanging wheels is a different matter..

Thank you Murray Systems- very useful info which I will save. You are a font of knowledge. As a matter of interest, if I wanted to fit W230 wheels to a R129, is it possible to get suitable bolts? Are there bolts available to cater for all the permutations?

We specialise in the 230-129 conversion. Very few stock the correct bolts (M12x1.5x26R14). Sometimes needs 3-5mm spacer on the front, too. We stock all the right 'fitting kits' for other conversions.
