Anyone got a good method of removing the black tape that's left on your alloys when you have had them rebalanced.

Tried tar and glue but some of the stuff just ain't moving

cheers Pete

Ambersil label remover. Works a treat
I try to remove the wheel weights before I have new tyres fitted because sometimes the new weights are fitted near where the old one were and a product like Ambersil label remover will un stick the new weights if it gets under them.

Halfords sell aerosol cans of “Sticky Stuff Remover”.

I was sceptical but it really is good.
Spray on, leave for 5 minutes and it will wipe straight off.
Or scrape it straight off with a credit card or equivalent.

Use google and search for “Caramel Wheel”.
