Hi
Alloys on my w124.
1 long wheelnut about 5 -6 turns to tighten
The other 4 about 1.5 turns to tighten.

Would that be right?

Just seems not much to tighten on the 4.

Ta

They should all be the same length. 1.5 turns sounds too little. The shaft should be 39mm long according to alloywheelsdirect.net

Steel or alloy wheels?

Can you post a pic up?

You need 6 turns for a thread to be at full strength.

Sounds like you are using 4 short bolts intended for the steel spare wheel...dangerous.

As above, I would not drive until sorted.

Yeah I thought 4 were a wee bit short. It would be next week before I could get pics up so Il just go and get some more.
