Hey guys, my car is in the garage at the mo getting work done for the RWC which it failed on front top mounts, NSR shock, and rear pads. While it's there, should I get the drive belts done too, mileage is 77,139. Got no history. Also, what about the timing belt/chain? When is that to be done?

Timing chains don't need to be changed but yes you can get them changed to ease your mind. They do stretch over time. My w203 coupe has done 171k on original chain so I am thinking to get it done, yes for peace of mind.
Not sure if yours is belt but if it is get it changed.

I've checked on the GSF site, and theres a timing chain kit listed for it for 150, ECP was 244!! Should be ok for at least 100 k right?

I believe so but not too sure. Someone will soon pop by and answer your question correctly. Now I want to get mine done now at my mileage lol.

Yep there is a price difference between gsf and ecp. Looked in both sites for a rocker gasket for my car from ecp is around £71 before discount and in gsf its £6.18 for same.
