Projectors do not require headlamp wash, you are thinking of HIDs.

that said, HIDS are often behind projectors, but yes, it's the HIDS that require wash-wipe, not the projector housing.

The standard lights are rubbish, projector lamps will be brighter even with the smoke lenses. . . . . wont they?
