Just be happy in the knowledge that donor parts will be keeping other older MB's on the road. In a few years time a pristine 07 E280 might drive by and you could imagine part of your car is in there keeping it alive.

Lol, yes will keep that in mind,. It was just bugging me as to where it was and what happened to it, at least now I know. As I said was my first merc, and the best the car in terms of comfort and driving pleasure.
