Where is the battery located?? W210 2001

As above, the battery recently died whilst in France and I just couldn't find the battery!

Stupid question I know, can somebody please help

Look in the cars manual, there's an index, look for the word "battery"


Failing that look under the rear seats - you may find a battery there..

It's under the rear seat.
There are two tabs you need to press at each end of the squab.

Yep totally agree, mines under the rear passenger drivers side seat ....... makes you wonder what the passenger gets on a severe bump!!
