Where is the Brake Light Switch located - W203

Hi all (again)

My W203 BAS alert is on and it has been mentioned here a cheap solution may be to change the brake light switch. I have looked high and low but just cannot locate it!

Anyone tell me where it is located please? Any drawings/pictures etc?

It should be the sensor located under the brake pedal if im not mistaken?

no its on the brake servo unit... these are a little more expensive too.. they arent a common issue, have you had the codes read?

I believe the brake light switch "moved" from the brake pedal to the servo once BAS was introduced.

No, i've not had teh codes read yet, nest week.

I have many codes to read, BAS, ESP , the No 8 fuse is the boot blows as soon as it touches metal - nightmare.
