Very good point! It's well known all Russian nuclear plant operatives read and write in english...
I don't know, I've gone blind and had to dictate this.Is the Lume on that stopwatch EXTRA bright?
It also featured in the opening credits of The Professionals!Nabbed from an auction description for an identical looking watch:
"Russian made 1960s Sekonda pocket Stopwatch. Manufactured in the 1960s in the Slatoustowsky factory, this very good quality Stopwatch is in very good working order and contains 16 jewels within the movement enabling the watch to measure as low as 0.2 seconds. This highly collectible Russian made time piece prior to the fall of the Eastern Block when all the British Sekonda company's watches were made in Russian factories. Sadly, when the Eastern block fell the manufacturing then switched to Asia"
So basically, all made in the USSR, with the USSR wording probably being a red herring in terms of where the watch was actually first used.
The 'neutron section' could be from any English speaking country at the time, or of course added later by a subsequent owner, who worked in the mysterious 'neutron section'.
