where to find a decent w140 300se,500se or 600sel (pre facelift 1991 - 1994)

Hi

where can one find the best w140 early shaped cars - pre facelift with the orange indicators and cuter styling..

Been looking but with little luck..

classic benz up north had a nice green one previously, now sold, but looked gorgeous..

any tips/ideas or finds most appreciated!

Decent W140's are few and far between.. I had a business edition and it sold within 30 minutes of advert going up..

What did the business edition consist of? Theres very little info on google

it was an end of line thing, they just threw most the extras at it.. electric rear picninc tables, rear blinds, sat nav, parktronic, electric memory ortho seats, sunroof etc etc

As you and most others here know, i love mercedes, and i have many. some new, some old. I myself am quite young (not going to disclose my age)

However, had i been older, there were cars i fel in love with in the 80's and 90's, such as my w124 cabriolet.

My dream was to own them one day, in decent condition.
Having the s320 cdi, i have had problem after problem with them, so realistically, i dont want modern current cars, i rather buy older modern classics or cars built when mercedess still had excetional quality

their quality died from mid 90's onwards..

I don't think that it's a Business Edition - no table, no storage box etc. Just a regular 320L I reckon

Not seen one but also 420 and 500 aswell and not in L(imo)
Electric picnic tables? - can't think of any other car with them.

You do of course realise that the earlier cars had far more issues than the later ones, especially engine wiring harness problems. I would go for as late a car as possible, if I were you.
