where to find a wiring loom?

hi there, recently found out my wiring loom is knackered on my e220 (96 reg),
and the dealers are quoting 750 just for the item....

looking to find a working 2nd hand one or a considerably cheaper new one if possible!

any suggestions/links to where i could be searching?

btw am based in london & southport (nr liverpool)

I take it a w124 as on 96 the w210 was E200 or E230
