Where to find the colour codes on C220

Hi All

Appologies if I am posting this in a wrong forumn, just would like to find out where to find the colour code on Merc C220 2003 model.

I need to get my alloys repair and remove few chips on bumber and the repair company needs to know the colour codes.

The colour code will be on the slam panel under the bonnet (almost directly underneath the bonnet ornament) or on a sticker attached to the driver's side B-pillar (open door and look to left ).

It will take the fom of a 3-digit number so for "black" it is 040, "brilliant silver" 744, "emerald black" 189 etc.

If you still can't find it then try putting your VIN (found in the same places and also on the windscreen) starts WDB203 into the russian MB club page (will find link in a min) which will tell you the full factory spec of the car and all the paint and trim codes.
