Where to stay in Llandudno

First off, apologies if the spelling is wayard. Ive got to attend a conference on the 1st of March <yawn> and I am going the day before. Can anyone suggest a good place to stay, my companys' paying so, well you know what I mean!. I know some of you are not too far away from here.

I stayed in a shocking hotel in Llandudno, when we were filming on Anglesey once, the whole place smelled of damp and had burgundy carpets.

Thankfully, i've put the horror out of my mind now , but the downside of that is that i can't remember the name of the place.

Wasn't much to do there either .......sorry i can't be of more help or optimistic
