Eclass AMG Estate
Hey all.
Looking at a c250 amg plus estate and was playing with config on MB site and remember seeing the optional AMG Handling pack.

I can't for the life if me find it now :/ even though reviews mention it.

Only listed under coupe now and instead there some Agility pack :/

Any pointers?

Any even have this option?

Cheers

Thanks :)
I'm going to pop to another dealer tomorrow who has a amg side and see if I can get a straight answer :)

Does the brochure not say anything? All relating reviews online say tweaks to steering / suspension / gear change Hmmm .. Though that what amg plus was ..

How much tweaking do you need? Ha!

Thanks again

Ok so I looked up one of my posts for you:

This is covered in some detail in the W204 lengthy thread. The suspension is firmer although quite subtly so. Various dealers and MBUK have confirmed it and the German spec / brochure lists it. Other owners think it sits lower too but can't be 100% on this.

Having driven with, and without, I have found the handling to certainly be sharper with - hugs the road very tightly, no slight sense of understeer which I did find when pushing the C350 hard. It gives a real confidence that just occasionally was missing with the standard set up. Yes it's firmer, but noticeable less so than my old RX8 or as reported elsewhere, a 370z, and the variable damping does a decent job at normal speeds.

The quicker gear changes are a plus and although not a factor in my choice, the brakes are simply fabulous!

For £530 i think it is one of the best value options, bar none. Not for everyone of course, as the standard suspension will be fit for purpose for most, but for me, the gorgeous power of the C350 Coupe needed it

Hope that helps.

I must be feeling very helpful today (or very bored!). I looked up the C Class Estate brochure and found the following:

"Agility Control with Adaptive Damping System (standard on Executive SE).

The Agility Control suspension with Adaptive Damping System offers an ideal blend of cornering ability and comfort. Its dampers automatically adjust to the requirements of the situation or surface, enhancing damping levels and optimising stability particularly on poorly made road surfaces

Agility Control sports suspension (standard on AMG Sport and AMG Sport Plus).

The C-Class AMG Sport and AMG Sport Plus models come with 15 mm lower Agility Control sports suspension. It features firmer springing and damping than the standard Agility Control set-up, which helps to reduce body roll and increase stability. The sports suspension is complemented by a more direct sports parameter steering system that enables steering input to be fed more immediately to the road"

This second option sounds very much like the AMG handling pack on the Coupe. Not sure though if it comes with the other Coupe changes like different tuning / quicker gearchanges
