Hi

I have an e55 an to be honest am not that impressed with the factory sound
I expected more, It sounds a bit tame

I have read on hear about getting some cats removed
Will this help with 1,sound and 2,performance

And has it has so many will it be ok for mot

Thanks

Remove secondary cats and resonator(if fitted) - job done. Still quite when idling/cruising and you get a nice blat when full throttle.

^ Would it still pass an MOT with the secondary cats and resonator removed?

That's what I like to hear.

When I've sorted the E55's suspension out I want to free up a bit more noise but I'd like it to still be able to pass the emissions test.

To be honest, if you have a really well tuned modern engine it can pass emissions without any cats at all. With the new MOT checks it must look like it has a cat fitted though.. I'd probably go with sports cats and a custom built exhaust if I was doing it.

What's up with the suspension
