Which 55 looks the best?

Out of all the AMG 55 models available right now, which one would you pick based just on looks?

I have to say that for me it would be the CLS55, I am seriously in love with that car, the lines of it are just so abnormal but so beautiful.

Another vote for the SL here too - SLK is much improved over the previous model, in my view, but remains behind its bigger brother.

I also prefer the SL55 over the SL65 - I find all the additional appendages a bit tacky (hides quickly)!

Never liked the CLS and it's not yet growing on me either.

CLS 55 is hideous, looks like an insect especially in black.

I'd have to vote for SL55. Its a beautiful classic shape. That said, I think the SL65 is even better!

One of my clients described it as a car with lazy power. It glides down the road and then explodes with a furious vigor that revs the heart rates.

It has a well balanced power to weight ratio which is why it doesnt have a supercharger. I have been a passenger in one of these cars several times and they are an extremely impressive package.

My personal favourite is the E55 because the seats fit me perfectly and the under material is so incredibly soft. The feeling of falling into the seat under hard acceleration is hard to compare with the SL.

Taking the SLK 55 purely for its animal manners is hard to compare. It is loud and obnoxious at full throttle. Its so potent that shop windows shimmer as the car thunders down a busy street. There is nothing like it in the Benz lineup that is so unrefined and musical at the same time. My eyeballs shake and my face is 10 years younger. It is an 18 year old made from steel.

S55, the CLS is the ugliest thing that has worn the Mercedes badge

Just a personal observation you understand and I certainly respect the thoughts of others.

The E55 estate is brilliant but a specialised choice suitable only for those who want the use of the back end.

CLS55 or C55 I think. A tough choice!!

I like the CLS for being so dramatic in appearance, but the C for being so subtle that it borders on being invisible. A little contradictory I know.
