Which CLK?

The AMG ones also come with the little "bolts" running all around them too. Do you have those or the same without the bolts? Is the cloth/leather seats cheaper then? lol I prefer them but seem harder to find than full leather. I have a feeling its going to be a bit of a wait and hunt for what I want. Friend of mine suggested the auctions too as he said main dealers often put their trade-in cars into them. lol not been this excited about buying a car for years. Prob why after 20yrs of bmw's Im changing.

If you like to keep your car looking immaculate avoid the wheels with the "bolts". They are a real pain to keep clean. Go for a simple 5 spoke look - very classy. Resale much easier with full leather. Even most 200ks were specced with leather. Its expected on a CLK.
Auctions good for fleet disposal cars, ex lease cars and main dealer part exchanges that are too old to be sold on with MB warranty. Dont think they will do that with many the age you are considering unless high mileage.

I have just bought a 220 CDi CLK 2006, I must say i'm dissapointed with the MPG, I'm driving in combined conditions but only getting 30 MPG. I have never seen + 40 on the computer read out.
The MB specialist that I bought it from say the engine management system is fine.

Are you really trying hard enough?

Seriously, 30mpg around town is probably right. You only get better on long runs with a light foot.
