I know it's been mentioned loads of times but i'd like a recommendation from some one who owns a unit that covers: air bags, abs, ...basically most of the usual warning's, i don't want to spend hundreds just a cheap & cheerful unit that will do the job.

TIA

If your OBD port is 16 pin and you car is a 2001 onward model then the Autel Maxidiag eu702 should do all that you require.

Perhaps providing it is not a diesel .............?

I use Torque on my phone combined with a Bluetooth OBD adapter for £10 off ebay. Works a treat.

Agree with others that a Star machine provides so much more however.

My Autel Maxidiag EU702 does ODBII, SRS/Airbags, and ABS/ESP.

Cost is £150-£200.

But there is no software update for it from Autel so it only works with MB cars made up to 2006-2008 (depending on model).

Works perfectly on my W203 2006 though, reads codes, resets, and also shows live data.
