Decided to revert to the original stainless trims on 15"steel rims instead of the more modern 16" alloys it had just now. The question is do I paint the trims in the traditional matching the body colour or go for a contrast...maybe matching the blue upholstery?

These are the very rare and expensive 15" trims as fitted to the W123 limo and not the standard 14".

To be fitted to this...

Body colour

To be true to the 1970's (sic), they really should be body colour.

It's too much of a statement to vary colour, for whatever justification.

And it will look "just grand."

Has to be body colour Druk, no other way here.

Stick with OEM

Purple one side, green the other. Though I have seen purple and orange. Mostly on Audis'.

Thanks folks. OEM it is. :thumb:

If you can count Toyota Silver Mist IE4 as OE :D

Before...

And after...

Wasn't convinced at first because there's not a lot of contrast between the paint colour and the stainless but it's growing on me.

Doesn't matter what anybody else thinks, it's your car, do what you like, that's all that matters.
