Which MB coupe is the natural heir to the CLK W209 which ceased production (I believe) in 2009. Is it the W204 C Class coupe (a few inches shorter) or the W212 E Class coupe (a few inches longer)? Do either of these coupes have the same blend of sport and luxury that characterised the CLK? I know the E Class was intended to carry that on, but it appears that the CLK designation (Coupe Leicht Kurz or Coupe/Light/Short) is filled just as well, if not better by the C Class.

Not sure about the coupe, but the E400 cabriolet is the natural successor for the CLK ragtop - and pretty good value too.

If you go by the design cue of no central pillar, then it has to be the E coupe.

To me, the E coupe looks a little like a 2 door CLS and all the better for it! :)
