which exhaust?

what type of exhaust would give my E320 CDI more power and a nice deep rumble. I know I wont be able to get anything like a V8 but something close.


Would an AMG/Brabus/Kleemann or some other maker be the best?

More power? An exhaust system not designed as an intimate integral part of the whole power system is more likely to drain power. That was explained to me by a sensible dealer in the 1960s when I was pratting around with a Vespa.

If it ain't broke, I wouldn't fix it. Neither would I go for a noise different from the original, not least because it is originality that most buyers would want, and in an E-Class MB quietness is a major virtue. But, each to his own.

Someone else here was looking at a bill of c. £2500 for replacing his OEM 320 CDi exhaust, and there are no alternatives at GSF and Euro Car Parts.

how about one for my e320 w124 coupe

id love a nice sounding one

ive got a HKS style filter and took the old box out, sounds good and emmisions are touch n go and mpg is down but sounds nice when heavy accelerating
