Which Fuel to use?

Collecting my cls 500 tommorrow:bannana:,can anyone tell me if the 388bhp engine is set up to run on normal (95 ron)unleaded or super?(don't want to put the wrong fuel in it)

Basic unleaded will be fine. Super will be better for performance and economy.

I only use Shell V Power in the SLK. Not strictly necessary, but it's reckoned to the best of the bunch and its detergents are also supposed to be beneficial for engine condition/longevity. Could all just be clever marketing hype of course, but I've been happy using it.

I could have written this - 100% same here. On both my cars - and the other one is a Renault!

Done it the other way round (once,petrol in diesel),so won't make that mistake again(hopefully)including the wasted tank of petrol it cost me £200 to get pumped,expensive lesson

Thanks for the feedback everyone(both the serious&humorous)now i know standard unleaded will be ok think i will carry on the trend i did with the clk320 cab-3 tanks of standard then 4th tank super(if only for it's cleaning qualities)
