Cls350cdi in palladium,C200k in tenorite,Slk320 in red.
Collecting my cls 500 tommorrow:bannana:,can anyone tell me if the 388bhp engine is set up to run on normal (95 ron)unleaded or super?(don't want to put the wrong fuel in it:o)

Basic unleaded will be fine. Super will be better for performance and economy.

I only use Shell V Power in the SLK. Not strictly necessary, but it's reckoned to the best of the bunch and its detergents are also supposed to be beneficial for engine condition/longevity. Could all just be clever marketing hype of course, but I've been happy using it.

I could have written this - 100% same here. On both my cars - and the other one is a Renault!

Avoid diesel...
Done it the other way round (once, petrol in diesel:o),so won't make that mistake again(hopefully:o)including the wasted tank of petrol it cost me £200 to get pumped:mad:,expensive lesson:eek:

Thanks for the feedback everyone(both the serious:)&humorous:rolleyes:)now i know standard unleaded will be ok think i will carry on the trend i did with the clk320 cab-3 tanks of standard then 4th tank super(if only for it's cleaning qualities;))
