Which MB Indies Offer an MBClub Forum Discount?

...any at all?

Looking for gearbox service, brake fluid flush, and potential suspension related work. I'm personally based in Cardiff or (West) London, Surrey etc. But it could be useful for others to know if anybody has had any discounts from indie's when mentioning the forum.

I remember Olly @ PCS was very accommodating when I went there once, I don't think they operate a kind of flat 'discount rate' to MBClub forum members, but certainly keen to look after the customer and make sure they're happy.

I heard positive things about Avantgarde in Bristol, too, I think? Can't remember...

It seems like the cost of mechanic/hour has gone up, along with everything else, so keen to make savings where possible...

Avantguarde, Steve, Lee and the guys are spot on. As for forum discount... no idea but cheaper than a main stealer..

PCS gave me a forum discount on servicing a few years ago when I used them.

Hi mate I’m not sure about a forum discount I’ve never asked but I’ve personally been using M B Specialists LTD in Bridgend so not to far from you in Cardiff

They have been brilliant for me Personally and saved me a small fortune with my recent rear brake line replacement

They charge £65 + vat a hour so £78 which for a specialist I think thats actually really decent compared to most other Mercedes specialist garages who I found to be closer to the £100 a hour mark

I also found out last week that they will allow you to supply your own genuine parts for services which I was shocked about so this alone will now save me money in the future, especially when buying genuine MB parts and oil etc from the likes of Mercedes benz Edinburgh or Mercedes benz Newcastle on their eBay stores Compared to just going to your dealership parts department and paying full wack

I think Pentangle in Southampton do a special 2 for the price of 3 discount if you ask Julie nicely. Pentangle are a top team and will stick with tricky problems and come up with cost effective solutions. The polar opposite of what I have found at main dealers. I don’t use them for routine stuff but I’m sure they would be great for that too.

That sounds more like a govt. initiative to reduce obesity, but I can't see it being that popular
