Which one would you recommend

I am stuck between buying a 2000/2001 W220 S320cdi a similar age E220/320cdi, what would you recommend I love the S class but my head says e class can anyone recommend which would be the best choice

If you love 320 E's and S's you may find a 220 of that vintage a bit lethargic.

W220 or W210. W220 for me.

I believe there are some things to watch out for on that age though?

Rust for starters.

W220 for me mostly for the ride comfort. But be careful watching for rust especially around the wheelarches. Also be sure to see that the airmatic is in excellent condition if it is equipped with since it cost an arm and a leg to fix if it breaks

Thanks for the replies I have a 94 w140 so have 1st hand experience about what happens when they go wrong I could have bought the car 3 times over in money I have spent but could never part with it it's sublime. I have heard w220 horror stories thats why I was swaying towards the 220 or 320cdi e class
