1st it was clockwise, but looking at it after a few seconds away its aint-clockwise.

Assuming that she is in the northern hemishere, and allowing for the corriolis effect , she should be, (and appears to be), spinning clockwise.

OK, more realistically

As none of you bothered to read the other thread which Howard linked to ....

It goes clockwise but there is a little bit of visual trickery in the artwork. Nothing to do with blurring your eyes, looking at the feet, standing on your head or any of the other "quack" methods.

As with nearly all things, there is an explanation
