White Dials, Black Lights!!!

Hi Guys,
Have seen White Dials for sale on fleabay and I do like the look of these but not sure how easy it is to dismantle the dash and change the dials! Anyone has done this? Good or bad idea? I have a CLK320 W209 by the way.

Also, I keep looking for the new shape rear lights but none comes up on flebay so I am thinking of smoking mine, I have done this a few times on my cars and bikes but always from the outside and now wondering how easy it is to take the rear light apart and tint it from the inside? Anyone done this?

I had considered the white back panels a while ago - but then decided that I did not want to open the whole unit (I believe it's sealed to prevent tampering as well).

That said, my fuel gauge has started acting up, so I may need to open it anyhow... so I may consider it again... so I'm going to watch what you do

They do one without the rings and silver plate for half the price.
