White Lines on Comand Ntg 2.5 Display

This started a couple o weeks ago, 2 lines then a few more. It is on all displays, map, radio phone and even the clock.

Is it a screen replacement ? Any information would be appreciated.

Solved White Lines on NTG 2.5 Screen

Bought a screen from German e-bay site €125 including shipping. It arrived from China within 3 days.

Was a bit apprehensive about fitting but the NTG 2.5 is quite straight forward. 4 screws and the face plate is off. Another 8 screws and the face chassis comes off followed by the printed circuit board. The screen has 2 pin plug and a ribbon cable.

Assemble in reverse. all done in 20 mins and a line free brand new screen!

Sorry meant to take pics but was keen to see if it was fixed.

I think it is more likely to be the ribbon cable at fault rather than the actual screen, but either way good job for getting it sorted effortlessly...
