Hi, As above my new Vito is covered in Iron fall out and is rusting like tiny orange spots on the roof ,bonnet and flat edges all over.
Whats best to remove this? I know T cut will work but don't want to rub the fall out in the paint!

Clay might do the trick. Don't take my word for it...an expert in this field will be along soon.

Three products which can remove iron fallout are:

1. CarPro Iron x

CarPro Iron X - highly effective cleaner with improved smell

2. Wolfs deironiser

Wolf's Chemicals Decon Gel (Deironizer) | Wolf's Chemicals Car Care & Detailing Products

and just out

3. Autobrite Purple Rain

Purple Rain Iron Decontamination Remover

I have used wolfs and found it very good.

many say ironx is a better product for bodywork

jury is out on purple rain as just released.

They all work on the same principle of containing similar chemicals to perming lotion which changes the iron to a water soluble iron salt.

I will give it a go and see how it goes.
Thanks for the help.

i had this on my van had it mopped and all ok now

Ive used iron x on our vito's and it does the trick. V easy to use.

Autoglym's fallout remover works well. Doesn't bleed, but does what it says on the tin.
