Still getting 40mpg on a sensible run, but short run figures have dived. When this week is out the way, I'll sort out the radiator blank and see if it works.

It's a D3 TDV6, they're meant to be decent on fuel! (although I don't think cold weather and 22" Overfinch wheels do me any favours

I know, I know...
An ML 63 is right at the top of my budget, it's hard finding one under £20k; as soon as they come on the market they seem to be sold straight away. That's part of the reason that I'm leaning towards an ML 420 CDi, there's a bit more choice under £20k.

I have had worse on my TDV6!
Still a great car though.
They are, I was only saying today that besides the (relatively) low mpg, these 4x4's are the ultimate all-rounder.
