Was looking to get one as my new company car (as it was less than 110g/km CO2 which is my company limit) but when I requested it, I was told it is no longer available as an auto in 2017 models and lowest diesel auto is C250d which has 112 g/km.

They will lose a lot of company car business as I am sure mine is not the only company with the 110 limit.

Now I have to decide manual Merc or Auto Jag.

At the moment I think it is going to be the Big Cat!!

I asked an MB dealer fleet salesman who posts on Pistonheads and he said from December build C220 will use the 9 speed auto but it will be same CO2 as the 250 at 112.

This is a weird decision. I am sure my company is not unique in setting it's CO2 level at 110. It could cost them a huge amount of fleet sales

He didn't think many companies limit to 110, and that the car should do better in the real world test - I think that's supposed to be applicable from Sept 17.
